Created in partnership with Public Health England (now known as the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities), this video resource presents insight and guidance on how healthcare professionals can make active lives possible.
Healthcare professionals are an important contact and referral point for many disabled people. They can have signifcant influence in supporting more disabled people and people with long-term health conditions to be active. In fact, evidence shows that one in four patients would be more active if advised by a healthcare professional.
Activity Alliance is committed to working with a broad range of providers and their national bodies to support healthcare professionals to offer more inclusive and accessible physical activity options to their clients and patients.
This short film introduces the urgent case for change and collaboration so more disabled people can reap the physical, mental, and social benefits of being active.
