We know healthcare professionals are the most trusted source for disabled people to seek advice about being physically active. Activity Alliance and Better Decisions Together undertook research to explore the role healthcare professionals play in positively impacting disabled people’s health and wellbeing through promoting physical activity.
The project focused on researching areas of good practice and disabled people’s experiences of positive support. The research includes good practice case studies, identifying features of success and common challenges.
The full report is due to be released on Monday 7 April 2025 to mark World Health Day.
