During National School Sports Week Activity Alliance has released a series of videos to help teachers and school staff use the Inclusive Education Hub.

The Inclusion 2024 Inclusive Education Hub brings together essential resources for inclusive PE and school sport into one space. Created in partnership by Activity Alliance, Youth Sport Trust and Department for Education, the hub supports teachers responsible for PE to engage more disabled students.

A new series of videos, released during National School Sports Week, have been designed to help guide users through the hub ensuring they are able to focus on the content.

Inclusion 2024 aims to increase and improve opportunities for young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) to engage and participate in physical education and school sport. It is funded by the Department for Education and led by the Youth Sport Trust in partnership with Activity Alliance, the British Paralympic Association, Nasen and Swim England.

Positive experiences in PE and school sport are essential to shape every child’s life-long participation. It can affect how we feel about being active for the rest of our lives. There is growing concern that many disabled children continue to miss out across the country.

We know that it can be difficult to find the best support for school staff to improve their inclusive practice. The Inclusive Education Hub brings the most relevant information to one easy-to-access platform. It provides teachers and school staff a personalised report with resources to explore their approach to inclusion.
