Promote your inclusive fitness success through ukactive Flame Awards
The ukactive Flame Awards are the biggest celebration of excellence across the physical activity sector. The Category Awards sparked an overwhelming response in their first year, and will continue to grow in 2015.
Our Inclusive Fitness Initiative (IFI) accredited sites were among finalists and winners in 2014, and we actively encourage the IFI sites to promote their great work.
See operators, suppliers, educational institutes, partnerships and individuals going head to head.
Why should you enter?
Here are five key reasons to enter the Flame Awards:
1. Raise your profile
Demonstrate your achievements to your customers, suppliers, employees, stakeholders and competitors. Finalists and winners will receive a logo to use on marketing materials, and case studies will be circulated to the ukactive database of over 3,500 members via a dedicated e-zine, journal article, and through key leisure trade media.
2. Receive high quality feedback
Regardless of whether you reach stage two, or become a finalist or winner, you will receive advice and guidance on how to improve your practices. Every entrant will receive an individually tailored report at the end of the process, including feedback on each stage; designed to be a business improvement tool.
3. Test and improve yourself
Each category has a 2 or 3 stage process designed to allow applicants to recognise areas for development and highlight strengths that deserve greater promotion. It is an exciting project for your team to get behind.
4. Benchmark yourself
The Flame Awards allow you to pitch yourself against the best in the sector. Taking part will give you a unique insight into the performance of your facility or organisation against other organisations.
5. Celebrate excellence
Join sector friends and colleagues at the Flame Awards Night on 24th June 2015. This gala dinner and awards ceremony is a dedicated event to recognising and showcasing best practice and innovation in the active leisure sector. Two of your team will also receive an ‘Experience Day’ courtesy of the Flame Awards sponsors.
