England Football Disability Training: new workshop dates

England Football has released the dates of its free Disability Training For Clubs: Journey to Inclusion workshops for the rest of this season.

Journey to Inclusion has been created with the support of Activity Alliance to improve football for disabled people across England and ensure football is open to everyone. The training will encourage more grassroots clubs to open their doors to disabled people, providing them with the opportunity to play and get involved with football in their local community.

The workshops are hosted both locally and nationally and are free to attend. The course is based on England Football’s Disability Training for Clubs Toolkit created with Activity Alliance and delivered by knowledgeable tutors.

During the workshops, clubs will learn about the barriers disabled people face when accessing football and how to overcome them. They can get advice and support on action plans to become more inclusive and it's also an opportunity for like-minded clubs to network, as well as hear real life case studies of clubs that have successfully grown to become more inclusive.
