Join LimbPower for National Fitness Day on Wednesday 20 September promoting health, fitness and inclusivity. As part of National Fitness Day, LimbPower will be running an online workshop on Wednesday 20 November from 10am to 4pm. This workshop is designed to support you on your fitness journey and empower you to improve your healthy habits.
Special Olympics GB – 14 August 2023
Special Olympics Athletes become history makers by participating in first UCI World Championships
Four Special Olympics Great Britain athletes recently made history by taking part in a demonstration race at the first ever Glasgow 2023 UCI Cycling World Championships. Ruairidh Brown (Special Olympics Scotland), Niall Guite (Special Olympics Sheffield), Luke Mahoney (Special Olympics North Devon & Barnstaple) and Andrew Newey (Special Olympics Greater Manchester) competed in a road race on part of the course from the Glasgow 2023 elite races, which finished at the city’s iconic George Square.
WheelPower – 1 August 2023
New sport sessions for people with Spinal Cord Injuries start this Summer
This Summer WheelPower has been working in partnership with the Spinal Injuries Association to bring a variety of sports sessions to their members across the United Kingdom. Over two months, WheelPower will be delivering 18 sporting activities to people with a spinal cord injury at the SIA Regional Community Groups.

Team GB proudly announces their triumphant return from the 8th World Dwarf Games held at the esteemed German Sport University Cologne from Friday 28 July to Saturday 5 August. The nine day sporting event showcased the exceptional skills and camaraderie of athletes from around the globe, fostering an atmosphere of spirited competition and international unity.
British Blind Sport – August 2023
'Have a Go Day' Events
British Blind Sport (BBS) is hosting free sports taster events across the country for blind and partially sighted people. The events will feature a fantastic line-up of sporting activities for blind and partially sighted people of all ages and abilities to participate in alongside their friends and family. Activities available on the day will be released across BBS social media channels during the build up to the event.
UK Deaf Sport – 1 August 2023
Free Training for Deaf Sports Committees & Clubs!
UK Deaf Sport, in partnership with Deaf & Hearing Trailblazers, are delivering a training programme specifically tailored for Deaf Sport Organisations based on the Training Needs Analysis that was undertaken earlier in the year. The training programme will support and help Deaf Sport Organisations meet the Tier 1 Code for Sports Governance and help them with areas such as recruiting and retaining volunteers, promoting their deaf sport.
