The National Disability Sports Organisations (NDSOs) are a good starting point for many deaf and disabled people who want to be more active. They provide advice, support, and opportunities for people of all ages with specific impairments to take part in sport and activity.

British Blind Sport – 30 March 2023
BBS and partners are changing the game for young disabled volunteers
British Blind Sport is pleased to announce that it will collaborate with aligned partners to replicate and deliver See My Voice (SMV), a sports leadership and volunteering programme for young disabled people. The expansion aims to encourage more organisations to offer inclusive volunteering opportunities, with the ultimate goal of making disability inclusion the norm in the sports sector and beyond.
WheelPower – 29 March 2023
Wiltshire residents welcome WheelPower Sports Festival to Tidworth
On Tuesday 21 March over 35 local disabled people came together at the Tidworth Leisure Centre in Wiltshire for a fantastic new opportunity to try wheelchair sports. The free event was organised by WheelPower, the national charity for wheelchair sport and it was the first time it has taken place in Wiltshire.
LimbPower – 27 March 2023
Life-changing multisport event for amputees and individuals with limb difference
This year’s LimbPower Games will take place on 8-9 July 2023 at Stoke Mandeville Stadium in Buckinghamshire. The event is a life-changing opportunity for amputees and individuals with limb difference to take part in sport and exercise sessions delivered by specialist coaches and instructors.
Special Olympics – 23 March 2023
Special Olympics GB and England Hockey to send first field hockey team to World Games
Special Olympics Great Britain and England Hockey have joined forces to send a squad of 10 hockey players with intellectual disabilities to represent the nation, for the first time, at the upcoming Special Olympics World Games in Berlin.
