Grants for clubs to increase archery participation for disabled people

Archery GB is pleased to launch a new small grants scheme aimed at supporting and developing the archery club infrastructure and disability archery.

The funding has been made available through Sport England, as part of Archery GB's Whole Sport Plan (2013-2017) and The Worshipful Company of Fletchers.

As such, this funding scheme is only available for clubs/organisations in England.

There are two strands to this funding:

  • ontarget (only available for ontarget archery clubs who have achieved or are willing to commit to working towards an ontarget specialism)
  • Disability (open to all Archery GB clubs including ontarget, county archery associations, local councils, county sports partnerships, education establishments, other relevant agencies and not-for-profit organisations)

The funding scheme has been established to encourage and support the development of new projects. They are particularly seeking projects that target increasing the number of people participating in archery and helping more archers shoot more often. Grants will be awarded in the region of £200 - £1,000.

Please find further information including the application form here and applications must be submitted by 20 June 2014.
