England Golf announce new funding to boost participation
England Golf is investing a substantial level of funding into clubs through the Play More Golf Fund and inviting all affiliated golf clubs and ranges awarded RangeMark to apply.
By successfully applying for this fund, facilities can deliver targeted activities with affordable and flexible follow on opportunities to encourage regular participation, leading to club membership. This will ultimately result in more players, more members and stronger clubs.
Part of England Golf’s forthcoming Strategic Plan 2014-17 is the need to increase the number of people playing golf more regularly and entering into golf club membership.
For guidance on the types of programmes, offers and activities the fund can be used for click here. Please note activities to benefit from the Play More Golf Fund should take place after 1 July once the facility has been informed whether it has been successful in its application.

The deadline for applications is Friday 30 May 2014, following which applications will be reviewed and successful applicants will be notified during June.
The Play More Golf Fund replaces the Junior Development Grant and the Innovation Development Fund. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
