The National Disability Sports Organisations (NDSOs) are a good starting point for many deaf and disabled people who want to be more active. They provide advice, support, and opportunities for people of all ages with specific impairments to take part in sport and activity.

British Blind Sport launches its annual Christmas appeal to help raise awareness of the charity and encourage the two million people living with sight loss in the UK to be more active.
WheelPower – 27 November 2021
The WheelPower winter walk and push challenge 2022
WheelPower announces the return of the Winter walk and push challenge in 2022. After the success of the first event last year the charity is delighted to say that it will be returning this January and will once again be encouraging everyone to walk off your stresses and push away those winter blues in support of WheelPower.

Special Olympics GB launches first athlete led social enterprise
Special Olympics GB launches first social enterprise with athlete Niall Guite. Together, they have opened a new online art business called ‘Niall Guite - Art with a Special Goal’. It is among one of the first athlete led social enterprises within the Special Olympics movement.

Knowles triumphs at Hull Open
Victory for Lewis Knowles at the Hull Open as World Disability Billiards and Snooker (WDBS) held its first tournament for deaf and visually impaired players since March 2020.

CP Sport Awards finalists announced
On Saturday 11 December, CP Sport will celebrate the achievements of people with cerebral palsy in sport at their annual Awards ceremony. The event is sponsored by Irwin Mitchell.

Return to St George's Park for DSAuk football training
At end of October, DSAuk were delighted to hold their first national event since the start of the pandemic at St George’s Park. Players had a fantastic day learning skills and enjoying some much-missed practice matches.
