SOGB welcomes a host of heavyweights to new Advisory Board
Special Olympics GB is delighted to announce a host of influential people from the world of sport, entertainment, business, media and finance to sit on a newly created Advisory Board with immediate effect.
The Advisory Board Members are:
- Keith Pelley, CEO of the PGA European Tour.
- Marc Worth, Founder and CEO of trends intelligence agency Stylus and online media pioneer.
- Jonathan Morgan OBE, Vice-Chair, Commonwealth Games Wales; Disability & Inclusion expert and seasoned sport leader.
- Jonathan Harding OBE, Associate Partner MH+A and hugely experienced leader in both private and public sector roles. Currently working for the Cabinet Office on the Prime Minister’s Ventilator Challenge.
- Anna Matthews, Business Development, Marketing and Event Consultant with more than 20 years’ experience from the world of sport and fashion.
- Nick Waters, Group CEO of Ebiquity PLC and international media, digital and advertising expert.
- Tony Simpson, Partner and Head of Media Practice and Board Practice at Savannah.
- Ben Miller, Social Impact and Strategic Communications Consultant in global sports.
All of whom will all sit alongside former Special Olympics GB Board Members, Murton Mann, Len Dunne and Phil Nathan MBE.
As Special Olympics GB continues to develop and strengthen, the main focus of the new Advisory Board will be to unlock business and wealth sectors to increase its fundraising capacity and capability while also being an invaluable source of help and advice from their respective and varied backgrounds.

This Board provides an excellent opportunity for Special Olympics GB to maximise opportunities, harness their creativity and expertise and I am excited to see what we can achieve as a group to help support the growth of our organisation and help more people with intellectual disabilities.”

Special Olympics GB is a non-profit organisation and the largest provider of year-round, sports coaching and athletic competition in summer and winter sports for children and adults with intellectual impairments. Special Olympics GB currently has more than 120 all ability, inclusive sports clubs covering 28 sports across England, Scotland and Wales providing approximately 27,000 regular hour-long sporting sessions per year, all delivered by a team of more than 4,000 volunteers.
