Disability Sports Coach introduces #DscAtHome
Last week 200 Disability Sport Coach (DSC) Community Club members were delivered home equipment packs to support them being active during isolation.
Disability Sports Coach, with the help of Davies Sport, will reach Club members from 13 London boroughs.
Peter Ackred, Disability Sports Coach CEO, said:
“For many of our members, accessing and understanding social media platforms is challenging. By sending out Home equipment packs, we are ensuring we connect with our most hard to reach members.”
Members will also be receiving a ‘DSC Home Activity Programme,’ providing bespoke Home activity cards. All equipment needed, is provided in their equipment packs. Alternatively, household objects can be used as a substitute for the equipment.
The DSC Home Activity Programme will also be accessible to disabled people across the nation. During the Covid-19 pandemic, Disability Sports Coach aim to motivate as many disabled people as possible to be active in the safety of their own homes.
