Experts gather to make sport and activity more accessible
The second Bucks & MK Disability Summit will take place on 2nd March 2018 and welcome disability organisations and sport and activity providers to start conversations about how together we can break down the barriers to disabled people becoming and staying active.
Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson, one of Britain’s greatest Paralympic athletes and Independent Crossbench Peer in the House of Lords will lead a panel of experts to guide the conversations and provide practical examples.
Only 17.2% of disabled people take part in moderate physical activity once a week however seven in ten disabled people say they want to be more active. Showing that more work is needed to ensure we have an active county for all.
Book your space at the summit before 31st January for the early bird price of just £25.
The summit also coincides with the Winter Paralympic Heritage Flame Lighting festival and attendees are invited to join the VIP guests to witness the ceremony.
