Survey examines link between personal finances and activity levels
Four National Disability Sports Organisations and English Federation of Disability Sport (EFDS) have commissioned research to examine the impact of receiving Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) benefits and personal finances has on a person's activity level. Led by Dwarf Sports Association UK, this study is calling for people with physical impairments to complete an online survey.
FlexMR Research have been commissioned by Dwarf Sports Association UK (DSAuk), Cerebral Palsy Sport, LimbPower, WheelPower and EFDS to independently evaluate the impact of DWP benefits and personal finances can have on a person's activity level. We want to find out if things could be improved to help you be more active – your opinions are incredibly important to us.
Your participation in this survey is entirely voluntary and your identity will remain anonymous. We will ask questions about your life and the impact that receiving DWP benefits has on your ability and willingness to be active. The answers you provide will only be used for the purposes of this research. They will not be used to sell or market products to you.
If you would like to complete this online survey yourself or on behalf of a disabled person, please click to complete survey.
The online survey closes on Tuesday 18 July.
The survey should take no more than 10 minutes to complete. At the end of the survey, you could also join an online discussion in the coming weeks and earn a £50 Amazon voucher.
If you are unable to complete a survey online, but would like to take part in the research, please contact Elliott Johnson, EFDS Research Advisor, and we will arrange for an alternative format of the survey to be provided for you.
