Motorsport – Alex Tait
I can’t really describe how I feel when I’m racing because it’s really all about focus and concentration. After a race has finished I feel a real buzz, that’s when it hits. And when you’re diving back to the pits you feel amazing.

Mountain biking – Phil Hall
I simply love mountain biking because it gives me a reason to get out of bed in the morning. It gives me the excitement and the adrenaline rush I crave, and it offers me a real physical and mental challenge. It also allows me to meet lots of great people.
I also love the fact that I can just forget about my disability when I'm in my bike, and I find myself riding in some of the most amazing and beautiful locations that I couldn't dream of getting to see or experience in my wheelchair.
Netball – Alison Evans
Netball has helped me a great deal, giving me confidence and making me feel fitter. People have told me that I’ve lost weight since playing. It has been a great experience, trying something new.
I’d definitely recommend the sport to people. Netball gets people active and it helps you feel part of a community. To be honest, I just love netball!
