London marathon: 25 runners finish course, fundraising for EFDS
Sunday 24 April saw 25 runners, all raising funds for the English Federation of Disability Sport (EFDS), step up to the start line.
The gruelling 26.2 mile course was conquered by all 25, with over £35,000 on track to be raised for the charity.
Phil Williams took on his Phil Williams' marathon story. for the charity, with London as his grand finale.
Phil said:
“It was absolutely awesome and I am already thinking about next year.”
John Somerville, a seasoned runner taking on his third London Marathon for EFDS said:
“I am always delighted to be a part of Team EFDS and am in awe of the work of the charity.”
Scott Ballinger from Staffordshire finished in the fastest time, an impressive 3:09:05.
All money raised will be put directly into funding projects run by the English Federation of Disability Sport.
