James Shaw named as new Cerebral Palsy Sport ambassador
Cerebral Palsy Sport is delighted to announce James Shaw, GB wheelchair tennis player as a new ambassador for the national charity. As a ambassador, James will support Cerebral Palsy Sport to encourage more children and adults with physical impairments to reach their sporting potential.
James, aged 20, who has cerebral palsy is a GB wheelchair tennis player. He is currently ranked 23rd in the world and is the youngest GB Quad singles and doubles National Champion Great Britain has ever had!
A fantastic young talent, James is looking to build on his current success on the court and take it to the next level. His main ambition is to compete at the 2020 Tokyo Paralympic Games. Find out more about James's tennis ambitions and journey to Tokyo here.
Cerebral Palsy Sport is proud to have James as an ambassador for the charity and they are very much looking forward to working with James to inspire and support more young people to be more active and reach their sporting potential.
Cerebral Palsy Sport exists to improve the quality of life of children and adults living with cerebral palsy through the provision of sport and recreational activities. They offer recreational opportunities and sporting pathways in athletics, bowls, football, junior multi-sports, swimming and table cricket.
