HFE delivers exercise and disability courses to exercise professionals on behalf of the Inclusive Fitness Initiative (IFI). HFE is an award-winning training provider to the health and fitness sector. With over 20 training venues located throughout the UK, the company is well positioned to support anyone looking to complete the Level 3 Award in Programming Exercise for Disabled Clients.
What does the course contain?
HFE’s course has been specifically designed to meet the needs of fitness instructors working across a broad range of disciplines, including personal training, outdoor training, Pilates and yoga. The course includes a broad range of training that is intended to equip graduates with the knowledge, skills and confidence to design and adapt exercise programmes for disabled clients.
Upon successful completion, graduates will be certificated with a YMCA Awards (formerly CYQ) Level 3 Award in Programming and Supervising Exercise with Disabled Clients.
Who is the course for?
This qualification is suitable for any exercise professional that is interested in, or already working with disabled clients. Delegates will need a passion for working with clients who are disabled and will also need to hold a recognised Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instruction (or equivalent).
In-house delivery
For those fitness industry operators that want to develop the capacity and capability to run their own staff courses, HFE is also able to provide a ‘train the trainer’ package with both delivery and ongoing support. This would be most suited to larger operators that have or are working towards the Inclusive Fitness Initiative.
