Superhero Series 2019
The Superhero Series is the UK's only series of mass-participation events where disabled people call the shots! This year, Activity Alliance has signed up as a Superhero Series Charity Friend and we're putting a call out for people to join us at two fantastic fundraising events.
Superhero Tri 2019 - Saturday 17 August at Dorney Lake, Windsor
Fly solo or unite with family and friends to take on the Superhero tri challenge - that's a swim, cycle and push/run! There are three unique challenges to choose from and three very different ways to take part. All types of gadgets and gismos are welcome on the course, you can use floats, boats, buggies, wheelchairs, powerchairs, adapted bikes and trikes. Anyone can enter, as long as there's at least one disabled person per team.
npower Winter Wonderwheels 2019 - Sunday 1 December at Dorney Lake, Winsdor
This festive extravaganza will keep you going through the colder months. Walk, run, cycle or push your way around Dorney Lake. With three distances to choose from, 1km, 5km and 10km, there's something for everyone. You can use adapted bikes, trikes, buggies, blades, race runners, day wheelchairs and powerchairs. Fly solo or enter as a team with friends and family (at least one disabled person per team).
