Together We Will
The Together We Will campaign ran from July to end of September 2016, and has now come to an end. There are lots of other ways you can continue to be active and stay active all year round. The National Disability Sports Organisations provide support, guidance and opportunities for children and adults with a range of impairments to be more active and have fun.
From July until end of September 2016, the National Disability Sports Organisations (NDSOs) and Activity Alliance, came together, supported by Sport England to encourage disabled people to be more active.
The Together We Will campaign aimed to support and motivate disabled people along with their friends and family to become healthier, stronger and have fun being active.
Over the summer, we showcased a series of ambassador stories from disabled people, about how and where they enjoy being active with friends and family. We also made it easier to find useful information about people and organisations that can support you to be more active.
As well as helping us be happy and healthy, being active is a great social activity. It can help you meet people, make friends and give your sense of well-being a big boost.
The eight NDSOs are British Blind Sport, Cerebral Palsy Sport, Dwarf Sports Association UK, LimbPower, Mencap, Special Olympics Great Britain, UK Deaf Sport and WheelPower.
